CAITLYN BOGART is an internationally-tolerated vocalist and music director currently based in Ann Arbor, MI. (I’m about to tell you about myself in the third person.)
Caitlyn is a highly versatile musician working at the intersection of jazz, classical, and musical theater genres. Originally from Dallas, TX, she is now a senior at the University of Michigan for Voice & Opera with a minor in Musical Theater Composition.
She’s performed in concerts around the country as a vocalist, including the 4th of July Spectacular Concert with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Detroit Jazz Fest with the UMich Jazz Ensemble, and the 2023 University of Michigan Spring Commencement at the Big House as well as at Hill Auditorium for SMTD’s Collage in 2024 and 2025, as well as with the Michigan Pops Orchestra at The Michigan Theater.
As a music director, Caitlyn’s work started at UMICH, and since has worked on Kill The Boy Band (workshop), Catch Me If You Can, Indecent, and various independent student productions and pit orchestras. She is a member of MAESTRA and has participated in their Mentorship Program. Regionally, she worked as a Music Assistant & performer for Transcendence Theater Company in Sonoma, CA. She sang at select performances and received praise from Broadway World San Francisco.
She regularly performs with the Jazz Lab Band at UMich under the direction of Dennis Wilson while studying voice with Caitlin Lynch and composition with Lynne Shankel.
